ACUVUE® OASYS™ with HYDRACLEAR® Plus

This is a research success story that points to the excellent comfort can provide when prescribing ACUVUE® OASYS™ to contact lens patients who complain of dry, uncomfortable eyes.
METHODS
- Subjects spent three 75-minutes periods in a controlled adverse environment (CAE) chamber.
- For each of the three periods, the patients wore no lenses, their habitual lenses or ACUVUE® OASYS™ Brand.
- The subjects evaluated discomfort on a scale of 0 to 4 every 5 minutes.
RESULTS
- The discomfort scores were significantly lower for ACUVUE® OASYS™ than for both habitual lenses (p=0.01962) and no lens at all (p=0.00003).
- ACUVUE® OASYS™ performed best, even in the worst conditions.
